He was the brother of Dustin Danger & Mr. Jason, of The Villens, and his presence at both "A Christmas Show with Rebelsfare Collective" & on set of the Danger&JeRm music video, "Birds", will forever remain in our hearts.

For as long as I've loved movies I've loved movie soundtracks. Movie soundtracks have exposed me to all sorts of music of different genres and cultures, music I probably never would have heard otherwise and that is one of my favorite things about them.

All that being said, for as long as I've been making movies I've wanted to compile a great soundtrack for a project (clearly, if all the Chase & Shep projects with copyrighted music didn't give that away) and at long last, I've done just that.

Alright, pretty late on this one but let's get sappy real quick.

​

A couple of weekends ago we attended The 1st Savoy Lumiere for the premiere screening of our short film 'An Affair at the End of Time'. We had a great time over the weekend and saw a lot of great stuff from fellow filmmakers. Nat, the festival director, put together a great event and it was a pleasure to get to know him and several others over the weekend as well.

​

But mostly, this awas a magical time for us, specifically Phillip and myself, because over the course of nearly 20 years of friendship all we've ever wanted to do is make movies and tell stories and for the first time not only did we to see a film we made together on the big screen, but we also got to see it at the theater we've gone to most of our lives and were employed at just a brief time ago. This was also the first time we've ever had our family come out and see something we've made. This all really hit me moments before our screening and I was fighting tears until we did our Q&A.

​

All this to say, this experience meant a lot to us and we couldn't have had a better start to our festival run. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us. We're looking forward to showing you what we've got next.

And that is a wrap on Flip & Suzy!!!!

I'm awful about taking photos so we didn't get the group picture we should have last night but here are some raw stills to celebrate (at least the ones we can show you without spoiling anything!)

There is still some work ahead as we enter post-production but I just want to take a moment to thank EVERYONE that has helped with this film. We've had friends show up for us, family opening their doors to us as well. I have quite a few projects under my belt at this point but this was the first project that truly felt like I was making a movie and as daunting as it all was ll of this support from cast, crew and beyond made it all easier!

And speaking of cat and crew..... Tayler Holler, the title is Flip & Suzy but this is 100% your film. You're an absolute pleasure to work with and you brought your A game every single day of shooting. You're willing to go there for your performance and this is the best work I've seen you do yet. It's a bonus that you're just a great dude in general. I can't wait to work on more project in the future brother man. 

Mercedes DeSilva, I know this was new territory for us both as actors and I'm beyond grateful we got to go through it together. You're so talented and committed to your craft and it's a genuine pleasure every time we get to work together! And, of course, a big thank you to your husband Jake for his support and understanding through this project as well! He's an MVP on this one where realizes it or not.

Chloe Loren, this was our first time truly working together and I certainly hope it is not our last because you are just an absolute ray of sunshine. I love it when people are passionate about what they do and you showing up on days you weren't needed for the hell of speaks volumes to me about your passion for the work. Not to mention your performance is just awesome. You knocked it out of the park.

Of course, thank you to our usual suspects. Our friends at Camp Nostalgic Studios. along with some other familiar faces pop up along the way and we're grateful to have all of you in this!

To all our extras, whether friends of ours that don't act, family that kind enough to join or the new friends we've made along the way, thank you all for your time and support. And Kiyla Goss, you're the fucking realest dude.

Rikki Ferrel, thanks for holding things down behind the scenes. You've been such a valuable part of our recent productions and I'm beyond stoked to know you and continue to work with you. How much you believe in me as an artist has had a truly profound impact on me and I appreciate that support more than you'll ever know.

Isabela Athey, this was your biggest role on a project yet as you stepped up to be the Director of Photography on this one. You did and awesome job and I'm so proud of you. No matter how much we bicker on set I know it's because you want to make sure we are making things the best we can (even if we don't have the time). I love you so much and we'll be even better next time.

Phillip Hazen, I know circumstances didn't allow you to be on set as much as you would have liked but you helped get this party started and buddy, we made one hell of a flick in my opinion. We've talked about making movies for nearly 20 years. And now we're doing it. Love you man.

And finally, to my parents, my sister and brother-in-law, Isabela's parents, the business owners, Sheppie, and the rest of you lot, thank you so much for everything.

I love all of you guys. This has been a hell of an experience and I cannot wait for everyone to see what we made. (And if I missed anyone directly I apologize but you're appreciated all the same!)

I wrote this script 4 years ago and it has been so cool watching it come to life thanks to my incredible cast, crew, friends and family that have all helped out. It has been awesome getting to flex some new creative muscles with these latest projects.

Hey everyone! Chase here. You may start to notice some changes to our page (such as the name of the page) here soon.

​

Since the start of 2022 we have produced projects under the Earth-217 Studios banner, starting with Chase & Shep's 4/20 Re-Up Show all the way to our most recent release, The Exorcism of Chase & Shep.

​

I would consider this period of time our "soft opening". Now it's about time for our grand opening.

​

As we move into a new phase of our lives and creative endeavors, I'll be rolling out Earth-217 Studios more officially over the course of the year as we expand the production company beyond Chase & Shep into new territory.

​

Our team has an awesome slate of new projects coming up over the next few years, including new short films, my first feature film, new Chase & Shep projects and so much more!

​

I'm so stoked to share this journey with all of you and to bring you new stories across all genres and mediums. And a special thank you to everyone who has supported us so far! I may bot be rich and famous (or making any sot of money at the moment on this for that matter) but it has been my dream to be a filmmaker since I was four years old.

​

Alright, the dust has more than settled and I've acclimated back to daily life again so allow me to get a little sappy here.

​

Over the weekend myself (Chase) and two of my best friends and creative partners (Phil & Shep) went to Chicago Horror Film Festival for the screening of The Exorcism of Chase & Shep.

​

The moment our film started to play I got overwhelmed with emotion. AS soon as that Earth-217 logo hit the screen my eyes filled with tears. It was a bit of a holy shit moment. I've wanted to be a filmmaker since I was 4 years old. Phil and I have talked for over 15 years of having our movies up on the big screen. So, Sunday night when Exorcism started playing it his me. Holy shit. We did it. Our movie was up on the big screen! It was a truly magical moment.

​

On top of that, we came into the weekned expecting to play a 15 seat screen and were shocked to find we were playing the big theater when we arrived. Our film screened to 100 or so people and they were laughing from start to finish (especially that ladty near the front of the theater. God bless ya). What an amazing feeling it was! This weekend was very reaffirming for me, expcially at a time I feel like I really needed it as a creative.

​

Thanks to CJ Vecchio and the Chicago Horror Film Festival for having us! You made this young man's dreams come true. Hope to see ya'll again come October!

​

And shoutout to all the filmmakers we met over the weekend. WE enjoyed your work and are looking forward to catching up on the flicks we missed this coming week! And a special shout out to We Watch Shudder for having us on their show to discuss our film!

​

It was an amazing experience and a memory I'll cherish for a long time!

YO! Exciting news this morning! The Exorcism of Chase & Shep is an official selection of the Indie Horror Junkie Film Fest!

 

This is our second fest we've been accepted to now and we couldn't be more stocked!

 

We'll be trying our best to make it out to Orlando on such short notice but anyone out that way go check it out and enjoy our silly horror comedy up on the big screen!
